The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia was established in 1964 for the purpose of providing fellowship among the evangelical missionaries serving in Zambia. It is a voluntary Christian church mother body registered under the Registrar of Societies in Zambia as a nonprofit organization, with tax exempt status. The scope of the group was later expanded to cover not only missionaries but also the general fraternity of evangelical denominations, local churches, mission organizations, para-church organizations and individuals etc.
We, therefore, wish to encourage you to browse on and acquaint your self with our activities. Your feedback is also greatly valued.
Action Plan on Child Protection
We are inspired by the words of our Lord Jesus Christ found in the book of Matthew 19:13-15 to provide support to children. Through this Scriptural passage, Jesus Christ taught us that we need to care for our children. The development of this Action Plan on Child Protection by the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia marks a critical milestone in ensuring that the organization’s staffs, visitors, members of the board and partners are guided in ensuring the safety, security and protection of children whenever they came into contact with them during their project visits to the communities or to our offices. It also sets out as a guide in ensuring advocacy in favor of the protection and well-being of children. This Action Plan is aimed at providing a fundamental basis for the appropriate code of conduct in ensuring a child-friendly environment at all times in all places.

A Call To Pray For Zambia
Guidelines for National Prayers June-December 2012
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and
seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will
forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2Chronicles 7:14)

The call to prayer !!
Brothers, sisters and fellow citizens; our country has been under severe attack as observed by a wave of problems that threaten the unity, peace and tranquility of our people. The frequent media reports show the extent of the hate and uneasiness among the Zambian people. The attacks and the exchange of hurting words between leaders of differing political views is jeopardizing our young democracy and regressing development efforts in the country. We can achieve much by exercising maturity and by being objective in our relationship with each other regardless of our divergent political philosophies, beliefs and convictions.
Pastoral Statement on the State of the Nation: Issued on 4th March 2012
The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia, gathered 230 church leaders comprising of bishops, reverends and pastors in Lusaka and Kitwe during which time the leaders reflected on the state of the nation in the light of our prophetic responsibility of being the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Mtt.5:13,14).
As an evangelical movement, we have observed with great concern the recent issues affecting the people of Zambia and how they are like ‘sheep without a shepherd’. Our role in relation to any government in power is advisory, pastoral, prophetic and priestly as we endeavor to consistently represent the needs and aspirations of the people before our Almighty God. We execute these tasks without partisan interests.
