The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia was established in 1964 for the purpose of providing fellowship among the evangelical missionaries serving in Zambia. It is a voluntary Christian church mother body registered under the Registrar of Societies in Zambia as a nonprofit organization, with tax exempt status. The scope of the group was later expanded to cover not only missionaries but also the general fraternity of evangelical denominations, local churches, mission organizations, para-church organizations and individuals etc.
We, therefore, wish to encourage you to browse on and acquaint your self with our activities. Your feedback is also greatly valued.
Climate Change Youth Sensitization
The weather in Zambia has been dominated by extreme hot and dry conditions for the past few weeks. It was only befitting that the faith-based organizations and environment youth groups went to do some trainings on Climate Change in Chipata and Livingstone on the 29th of October 2011.
The one day sensitization workshop was a collaborative effort between the church mother bodies in Zambia namely; Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ), Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) and the Zambia Episcopal Conference (ZEC). The training in Chipata was opened by CCZ's Rev. L. Kaluah and had about 5 Youth Pastors and 45 youths in attendance.
First Women's HIV Prevention Convention

EFZ is working hard to support people living with HIV through its HIV Department by providing assistance to orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs). Zambia’s first ever Women’s HIV Prevention Convention was held recently in Lusaka and is a positive step in the right direction towards gender equality. Read more
